LightLink, a pioneering Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain, has secured $4.5 million in seed funding, marking a significant milestone in its mission to revolutionize blockchain transactions.

Led by a $3 million investment from MQDC, a prominent Thai real estate developer known for iconic projects like the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok and IconSiam, along with T&B Media Global, a leading conglomerate in entertainment technology and media, LightLink's seed round reflects strong confidence from industry leaders.

Other investors contributing to the round include established Web3 venture capital firms such as JellyC, Aweh Ventures, Blue7 and B3V, as well as traditional Web2 investment firms like Gandel Invest, Organik, and Big Kid Ventures.

LightLink, developed by Pellar Technologies, has already made significant strides in the blockchain space.
Ranking among the top 10 in transaction volumes among rollups, with transaction speeds reaching 5,712 per second and over 215,000 unique wallet addresses operating on-chain, LightLink stands out for its scalability and efficiency.
Roy Hui, Co-Founder and CEO of LightLink, expressed enthusiasm for the funding, stating, "Our aim is to bridge the digital economy with millions of users across the globe. The funding we've received enhances our focus on making blockchain as intuitive as traditional web platforms, with an emphasis on gasless transactions."

Roy Hui, alongside a team of experienced blockchain engineers and Ethereum experts, has been instrumental in realizing LightLink's vision. Notably, LightLink's technology played a crucial role in Translucia, an ambitious multiverse project backed by T&B Media Global and MQDC, which received $300 million in funding. LightLink's seamless integration enabled easier access for users accustomed to traditional web platforms, eliminating the complexities associated with Web3 projects.

Dr. Jwanwat Ahriyavraromp, CEO of T&B Media Global, expressed excitement for the partnership, stating, "This collaboration is an ideal alignment, driven by our mutual goal to establish an interconnected, user-friendly digital world that shares happiness. We're excited to introduce Web2 users to the capabilities of Web3, democratizing digital technology."

The success of LightLink's seed funding round comes on the heels of its partnership with Animoca Brands, aimed at integrating LightLink's Ethereum Layer 2 technology into gaming projects. This strategic collaboration aims to advance the Web3 gaming industry by enabling gasless transactions and enhancing user experiences.

With strong leadership, a clear mission, and support from influential investors, LightLink is poised to lead the way in mainstream adoption of blockchain technology.
