Crypto firm Galaxy Digital and asset manager DWS have partnered to develop exchange-traded products (ETPs) for listing in Europe. The move will allow European investors cost-effective access to digital asset investment through traditional brokerage accounts. DWS, with $907bn in assets under management, will be Galaxy's exclusive partner for crypto ETPs in Europe.
ETPs provide institutional investors with a way to enter the crypto investment space without requiring direct control of the underlying assets. Similar products have already been established in Canada and Europe.
