BlockFi: California Customers Who Paid Back Loans will Get a Refund

Cryptocurrency lender BlockFi, which has filed for bankruptcy, will refund California customers more than $100,000 who repaid their loans during a commercial downturn in November 2022. At least 111 borrowers made payments totalling $103,471 between November 11 and November 22 without being informed that they could close their accounts. BlockFi has requested permission from the bankruptcy court to refund the payments and has suspended its California financing law license.
