As Bitcoin reached record highs again, on-chain activity by large whales attracted attention. The intense trading traffic in the market was particularly concentrated in Aster ($ASTER), PumpFun ($PUMP), and Ethereum ($ETH).
Following the launch of the $ASTER spot listing on Binance, many whales transferred large amounts from Aster and Gate exchanges to Binance. According to on-chain data:
- Address 0xaF81 transferred 9.65 million $ASTER ($19.87 million) from Gateio to Binance 1 hour ago.
- 0x081c deposited 8.86 million $ASTER ($18.74 million);
- 0xF336 transferred 7.23 million $ASTER ($15.61 million).
Meanwhile, the GhFaBi wallet, identified as affiliated with PumpFun, sent 3.125 billion $PUMP ($20.56 million) to the OKX exchange. This wallet is known to have received 18.74 billion $PUMP ($126.65 million) from PumpFun three months ago.
There were also noteworthy transactions on the Ethereum side. BitMEX founder Arthur Hayes continued his purchases by purchasing 113.7 $ETH ($520,000) two hours ago.
However, an early Ethereum investor sold 1,800 $ETH, or $8.12 million, today. The wallet in question had previously withdrawn 5,999 $ETH ($15.14 million) from the Kraken exchange four years ago.
The buying trend continued unabated:
- A whale named 0xd65F purchased 7,311 $ETH ($33 million) by depositing 33 million USDC into Hyperliquid.
- 0xa312 withdrew 8,695 $ETH ($39.5 million) from Binance.
