A Miner Extractable Value (MEV) relay block on the Ethereum Beacon Chain paid out a $1.28 million reward in Ether to liquid staking solution Lido, in one of the largest rewards in recent months. The use of MEV-boost relays has resulted in over $1.38 billion being extracted from Ethereum users through MEV bots, which aggregate blocks to select those with the highest fees.
