Cryptosat Provides Space-Based Entropy for Ethereum KZG Ceremony

Blockchain-powered satellite Cryptosat has contributed entropy to the Ethereum KZG ceremony from space. Cryptosat's Verifiable Random Beacon service generated the entropy, which will help provide a cryptographic foundation for Ethereum scaling. The satellite orbits the Earth every 90 minutes, making it difficult for outside actors to gain access during the contribution. The Ethereum Shanghai upgrade to the mainnet is scheduled for April 12.
