Grayscale Extends Review Period for EthereumPoW Acquisition and Sale Decision

Grayscale Investments is extending the review period for evaluating the market environment to decide whether to acquire EthereumPoW (ETHW) tokens and whether, when and how to sell them on behalf of shareholders. The review period is not expected to exceed 180 days from March 16. The decision follows the ongoing uncertainty regarding the support of ETHW tokens by digital asset custodians and trading venues, and the expected fluctuation in value if such support is gained. Ethereum forked into two blockchains after the Merge in September 2022, with ETHW being the mining-based PoW version.
