Portfolio dApp, which enables the consolidation of user wallet assets over seven networks - Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Optimism, Fantom, Abritrum, and Avalanche - and across numerous accounts, has been released in beta form by MetaMask. It includes support for displaying NFT and multi-chain assets, searching and watching tokens, and more.
MetaMask Developed Beta Portfolio dApp
MetaMask developed a complete dApp for users to view all of their assets in one location, citing a "better MetaMask experience." According to the company, users often find themselves logging into various applications and websites, calculating the balances of DeFi activities, NFTs, and the general condition of crypto. To address these concerns, the company launched a Portfolio dApp that collects all of the wallet's content in one location. Many users have multiple cryptocurrency wallets or accounts. As a result, they had to rely on other platforms to determine the total worth of all accounts in the MetaMask wallet until now. Portfolio dApp would enable users to link multiple accounts with their MetaMask wallets and add other accounts, such as an offline wallet, by using the "watch any wallet" feature and selecting the wallet names.
Multiple Networks and Richer NFT Experience
According to the company, Portfolio dApp contributes to this ambition by providing a range of networks. The networks include Ethereum, Optimism, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, Fantom, Abritrum, and Avalanche. Users can view all of the assets from these chains in one location once the accounts are connected. The dApp lets users readily view the NFTs to enjoy them. Users can examine all the digital art pieces and other utility NFTs on Ethereum Mainnet and Polygon by switching to the "NFT" side of the dApp. There are likely to be NFTs that users have never claimed or purchased, but they can easily remove from their portfolios. It is as simple as clicking the three dots next to any token to "hide" it from their view. MetaMask claimed that Portfolio View and NFT View are not the final additions they would provide in the dApp. The company intends to improve the user's experience with new features.
