Chainlink has expanded its APAC Equities Streams to cover Asian stock markets with a combined value of more than $40 trillion.

The service now spans five markets: China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

The announcement was made on November 3,

according to TechFlow, citing an official Chainlink announcement.

What the Expansion Covers

The original APAC Equities Streams launched on June 22, 2026, and initially gave developers access to data on companies such as Samsung and SK Hynix.

That first release focused on Japan and South Korea.

Companies including Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, Toyota Motor and Sony Group were included from day one,

according to Bankless Times.

The wider rollout adds Taiwan, Hong Kong and China.

Chainlink said covered companies include TSMC, Tencent, Samsung, SK Hynix and BYD, among others.
Crypto Briefing reports the expansion reaches six exchanges across the five markets.
Platforms that want to list products tied to Asian equities now have a common data source covering those exchanges, rather than stitching together feeds market by market.

On the technical side,

the data is quoted in local currencies rather than converted into a single base currency, and the streams use Chainlink's RWA Advanced (v11) schema.

Platforms Using the Data

Lighter, Jupiter Exchange, and Predict.fun are using the streams for on-chain equity markets and related products.

The protocols are @JupiterExchange, @Lighter_xyz and @predictdotfun.

Jupiter Exchange now lets traders take perpetual positions on some of Asia's biggest stocks.
Crypto Briefing noted that Lighter and Predict.fun have also integrated the technology, which suggests Chainlink is building a distribution network rather than a single partnership.

The service has a limit that traders should note.

The streams run only during standard exchange trading hours, so when Shanghai or Tokyo closes for the day, so does the feed.
US equities received 24/5 coverage, while the APAC streams currently stick to standard session hours.
How Jupiter and similar venues manage positions during those overnight gaps will

be a point to watch.

The move extends Chainlink's push into tokenized equities.

In January, the company introduced 24/5 US Equities Streams, designed to deliver market data for US equities and ETFs across all trading sessions,

as reported by The Block. The APAC expansion applies a similar approach to Asian markets, with $LINK-linked oracle infrastructure supplying prices to decentralized derivatives venues.
