Aero (@aeroxyz), the decentralised exchange formed from the merger of Aerodrome and Velodrome, is seeing early traction on Robinhood Chain. Six days after launch, the network is already the exchange's second-largest source of fees.
According to DefiLlama data, Aero took in $2.15M in fees over the past seven days. Base still accounted for most of that at $1.97M. Robinhood Chain followed with $54.7K since joining at last Wednesday's launch, ahead of Ethereum at $47.6K and OP Mainnet, the former home of Velodrome, at $42.5K.
Volume and liquidity across the new exchange
Trading volume reached $3.77B over the period, with $360.8M locked across the exchange. Base remains the anchor, which fits its history: The Block reported that Aerodrome accounted for 58% of DEX trading volume on Base in the third quarter, while Velodrome accounted for 60% on OP Mainnet.
