AIR and Minds by Animoca Brands are teaming up with stablecoin card company Reap and commerce-infrastructure firm Pivota to let AI agents make purchases for users while proving what those users are entitled to, all without exposing personal details. The first step is a controlled demonstration with a single merchant. The release doesn’t name the merchant or say when the demonstration will happen.
AIR is the layer that connects apps and agents to Moca Chain, the identity network whose mainnet went live at the end of September. Minds, which Animoca launched in February, is a personal AI agent that users run through Telegram or email. Reap is a Hong Kong card issuer that says it processed billions in stablecoin-funded transactions in 2025. It now sits inside Kraken’s parent company: Payward announced the completion of its purchase, valued at up to $600 million, on July 1. Pivota, based in Palo Alto, says shopping agents can currently reach only about the top thousand brands, and it indexes smaller merchants so they can be found.
How the four pieces fit together
The release lays out a proposed design. AIR lets a user share verified attributes and earned entitlements with their Minds agent, which can then claim offers or access without handing over the underlying data. The agent works out what the user wants and runs the purchase. Pivota picks the product, merchant and route using live pricing and availability, plus what each merchant supports, then places the order through the merchant’s existing commerce stack. Reap issues the card, creates payment credentials limited to specific merchants, amounts and time windows, applies coupons and completes checkout. Pivota says it never touches the flow of funds and that merchants stay the merchant of record.
