Layer 1 Pharos launches AI-powered tools as it targets Agent-Native Chain

Pharos Network has launched an Agent Native upgrade designed to bring AI-powered interactions and agent infrastructure to its RealFi-focused blockchain. The rollout begins with sponsored transactions on Testnet and includes a natural-language agent widget, the Pharos AI portal and an AnvitaMate collaboration.

The Pharos Port Agent Widget lets users query real-world asset positions, vault maturity, yield and redemption windows, while the developer portal combines Pharos Chain MCP, Developer Docs MCP and SkillEngine. The upgrade is part of Pharos’ effort to make agents capable of holding assets, using tools and paying for their own onchain activity.

Pharos plans to introduce PoS staking and Testnet gas sponsorship in Q4 2026, with Agent Accounts and other agent-focused infrastructure rolling out in 2027. The network is targeting an integrated Agent-Native stack by 2028.

Founded by former Ant Group executives, Pharos Network is a layer 1 blockchain focused on financial applications, including tokenized real-world assets, institutional markets, payments and AI-agent activity. It describes its ecosystem as “RealFi,” connecting TradFi, DeFi and cross-chain liquidity through EVM-compatible infrastructure and parallel execution.

The company has disclosed $52 million in funding, including an $8 million seed round led by Lightspeed Faction and Hack VC in 2024 and a $44 million Series A in 2026.
