  • Stellar added Pyth Pro and Pyth Indices, bringing continuous pricing infrastructure to a tokenized real-world asset ecosystem already exceeding $4 billion in value.
  • Pyth Indices provide 24/7 marks for equities and commodities, helping Stellar applications update collateral, risk controls, accounting, and trading outside traditional market hours.
  • Pyth Pro offers more than 3,500 feeds with updates as fast as 50 milliseconds, supporting equities, futures, ETFs, commodities, FX, crypto, and fixed income.

Stellar’s tokenized real-world asset ecosystem has gained a new pricing layer as Pyth Pro and Pyth Indices go live on the network, which already hosts more than $4 billion in tokenized RWAs. The integration tackles a persistent mismatch between assets that trade onchain around the clock and underlying markets that still close overnight, on weekends, and during holidays. That gap can complicate collateral valuation, risk management, vault accounting, and trading, making continuous pricing increasingly important as traditional financial instruments become transferable through blockchain infrastructure at scale, especially for applications that cannot simply pause when legacy markets shut down entirely.

Pyth Indices are designed specifically for that problem, offering 24/7 pricing for assets whose native markets operate only during exchange hours. The catalog includes constructed indices for Brent, natural gas, copper, and oil, alongside single-name equity indices for AAPL, NVDA, TSLA, MSTR, GOOGL, MSFT, MU, and SPCX. For Stellar applications, that means equity-linked and commodity exposure can keep receiving updated marks even when cash markets are closed, allowing perpetuals platforms and vaults to maintain collateral values, portfolio accounting, and risk controls without waiting for the next traditional trading session to reopen again globally.

Pyth Expands Stellar’s Data Infrastructure for Tokenized Markets

Pyth Pro broadens the data layer further, giving developers access to more than 3,500 listed feeds spanning equities, futures, ETFs, commodities, foreign exchange, crypto, and fixed income. The catalog includes more than 1,000 U.S. equity feeds and over 50 commodity and metals feeds, with delivery channels capable of updates as fast as 50 milliseconds. The breadth and speed are aimed at builders that need institutional-style market data across multiple asset classes, while coverage follows each market’s own schedule, including 24/5 support for selected U.S. equities and continuous crypto pricing across global applications today.

The rollout lands as Stellar’s RWA infrastructure becomes increasingly composable. Centrifuge’s deRWA launch introduced deJTRSY and deJAAA on Stellar, with Blend named as a lending and borrowing partner, creating scenarios where tokenized funds can move into DeFi as collateral. Continuous pricing becomes more consequential when tokenized funds are expected to interact with lending markets, diversified vaults, and payment applications rather than simply sit onchain. The same data layer can also support live foreign-exchange quotes for Stellar payment products, giving developers a broader foundation for building around the network’s expanding $4 billion RWA economy today efficiently.
