The Cardano Foundation and Blockforce have launched a dual-ledger architecture for regulated supply chain traceability. Cardano now works as the public proof layer of Blockforce’s platform. Blockforce is a traceability platform for enterprise supply chains. Cardano is a blockchain network designed for secure and verifiable digital records.
The system separates private data from public verification. Details of each supply chain step remain on a permissioned network and are visible only to authorized participants. Cardano stores only cryptographic proofs of these records. Auditors, regulators, and customers can then verify that a record is genuine without accessing the underlying information.
One company using the system is Azzas 2154, Latin America’s largest fashion group. It uses the platform to trace its leather supply chain by combining fiscal documents, supplier records, and official public databases into a single history for each product.
Signed contracts cover 6.5 million certified records through 2030. The companies also plan to expand the system into automotive, agribusiness, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics.
