Developer activity continues to play the role of the leading factor denoting the position of the blockchain network. In this respect, Ethereum, $BNB Chain, and Polygon are dominating the blockchain sector in terms of developer activity. As per the data from Santiment, the other prominent blockchains include Solana, Cosmos, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Optimism, Harmony, and Gnosis. The performance of these blockchains presents mixed results.

Ethereum Leads Blockchains Based on Weekly Developer Activity with 9.5K Events

Ethereum remains the top blockchain when it comes to developer activity. However, over the past week, the developer activity has dropped by 9.86% on the Ethereum ecosystem. Particularly, it has witnessed a total of 9.5K developer activity events throughout the week with 58 contributors. So, the number of contributors denotes a 93.54% decline.

Apart from that, $BNB Chain has become the 2nd prominent blockchain based on developer activity. It has witnessed 4.4K developer activity events, underscoring a 2.64% increase over seven days. Nonetheless, the number of its contributors has plunged by 93.31%, hitting 32. Then, Polygon is the next name on the list, seeing 3.6K developer activity events, with a 3.04% increase during the week. Additionally, the contributors were 19, suggesting a stunning 94.33% decrease.

Following that, the Solana blockchain has witnessed 2.9K developer activity events over the week, expressing a 21.75% rise. Along with that, these events saw 20 contributors, highlighting a 93.29% drop. Subsequently, Cosmos’s 2.7K developer activity events of the week recorded 6.54% spike. However, the contributors shrank to 7, accounting for a 97.12% dip. Arbitrum has also jumped by 3.2%, with its developer activity events hitting 2.7K. Additionally, a 94.77% slump has decreased the number of its contributors to 15.

Gnosis Bottoms List with 21K Developer Activity Events

Moving on, Avalanche’s 17.77% growth in developer activity has raised its events to 2.6K in number, while a 94.31% dip has minimized the number of its weekly contributors is 14. Then, Optimism has witnessed 2.4K developer activity events after a 4.65% weekly decline, and a 95.37% drop has placed the number of contributors at 13. Additionally, Harmony’s 2.4K weekly developer activity events display a 22.21% surge while Gnosis’s 21K events present 2.45% dip.
