Mind Network, a privacy-focused blockchain infrastructure provider, has announced the launch of the x402z Testnet, a confidential agent-to-agent payment solution designed for the AI economy. The product targets a key limitation of public blockchains, where full transaction transparency conflicts with the operational needs of autonomous AI agents.
The solution was developed in collaboration with ZAMA, a cryptography company specializing in Fully Homomorphic Encryption. x402z combines FHE with the ERC-7984 Confidential Token standard to enable on-chain payments without revealing transaction amounts, balances, or strategic intent. Validation remains trustless, while sensitive economic data stays encrypted.
Under the x402z model, validators can confirm transaction correctness without accessing the underlying values. Observers can verify that a payment occurred, but cannot infer its purpose or scale. This approach maintains an authoritative ledger without broadcasting commercially sensitive signals.
