Wirex, a global digital payments platform focused on stablecoin infrastructure, announced a collaboration with TRON DAO, the steward of the TRON blockchain ecosystem, to launch a TRON-native payment infrastructure. The solution is built fully on-chain and is designed to support agentic payments, allowing applications and digital agents to send, receive, and manage payments autonomously on the TRON network.
The new infrastructure enables TRON users to spend and transfer digital assets in everyday scenarios, including retail payments and cross-border transfers, while retaining full self-custody.
Through the integration, Wirex connects the TRON ecosystem to global card and banking infrastructure. This allows on-chain assets to be used across traditional payment channels, including international transfers and merchant payments, without moving funds off-chain. Support for USD- and EUR-denominated stablecoins is included, with direct on-chain conversion and liquidity management.
