Seoul is the next destination in the Scoop AI Hackathon global tour, marking the fifth event in the series exploring blockchain and AI integration. The announcement was made by Neo and SpoonOS on Dec 11. The Seoul Bowl will take place Dec. 20–21 in Seocho-gu, offering a weekend of rapid development, panel discussions, and competitive building in agentic AI.
Hosted at 3F, 44 Sapyeong-daero 57-gil, the Seoul Bowl invites builders, researchers, and creators to develop autonomous Web3 applications using the Neo blockchain and SpoonOS infrastructure. The event is co-hosted by Neo and SpoonOS, a chain-agnostic agentic operating system built and maintained by Neo Global Development.
Event Partners and Community Support
The Seoul Bowl is supported by a coalition of technology companies and local communities, including Google Cloud, GoKiteAI, Aegis Ventures, Gridge, Habsida, Digital Nomads Korea, and CodeSeoul. These organizations will contribute mentorship, infrastructure, and outreach to facilitate innovation throughout the hackathon.
Participation and Tracks
The event will offer three technical challenge tracks focused on the most active domains of decentralized agent development:
- Agentic Infrastructure and Productivity AI: Build core tools and agent-hosting systems to streamline decentralized workflows
- AI4Science and Engineering: Apply AI to accelerate simulations, models, and scientific problem-solving
- Autonomous Finance, FinTech, and Quant AI: Develop financial agents capable of executing strategies and managing risk autonomously
Participants can apply online to join the event, with space available for both developers and general attendees interested in exploring projects and networking with the AI and Web3 community.
Prize Pool
A total prize pool of US $8,000 will be awarded across primary and track-specific categories:
- Grand Prize: $2,000 for best overall project
- Track Winners: $1,000 × 3 for the top project in each category
