Algorand Foundation and Noah have announced a partnership to bring regulated payments to the blockchain. The collaboration was presented at AlgoDay during DevConnect 2025, where executives from both companies discussed how the integration will support developers and businesses across the US, Europe, and India.

Through this partnership, developers on Algorand can access Noah’s regulated payment infrastructure, including virtual bank accounts for EUR and USD. This allows organizations to accept traditional bank payments and move them on-chain, supporting applications from DeFi and fintech platforms to humanitarian services like HesabPay and the Aid Trust Portal. These projects have shown how blockchain can provide transparent and reliable financial disbursements in regions with limited banking services.

By linking traditional payment systems with Algorand, the integration aims to improve settlement speed, reduce costs, and enhance compliance. Initial implementations for the Algorand ecosystem are planned for 2026.
