The Hashgraph Group, swiss-based Web3 technology company, has introduced TransAct, a new solution that allows enterprises and government institutions to use the Hedera network (open source public distributed ledger) without directly handling cryptocurrency. TransAct removes the need for businesses to manage digital wallets or pay gas fees in HBAR.
TransAct is a managed service with enterprise-grade service level agreements (SLAs). Transactions are invoiced monthly in U.S. dollars or other traditional currencies, making it easier for organizations with restrictions on holding digital assets to integrate Hedera into their systems.
The platform provides a secure interface and management dashboard for monitoring activity and costs. Developers can also access open-source components through Linux Foundation Decentralized Trust’s “Project Hiero,” while enterprise-specific features remain proprietary.
