Saga, an L1 blockchain designed for Web3 games, has announced a partnership with Virtuals Protocol, Eliza Labs, the Wayfinder Foundation, and ai16z in a collaboration aimed at powering AI agents. As part of the collaboration, Saga unveiled Metropolis.lol, a reality arbitrage protocol that combines blockchain and AI technologies.
Metropolis.lol functions as an open-source agent runtime, providing developers with a full set of tools to build AI-focused applications. The initiative defines Metropolis as a decentralized society where AI agents thrive.
As part of the collaboration, Virtuals Protocol facilitates ecosystem interactions through the Metropolis Butler Agent, which enables seamless communication between Virtual Protocols’s agents and Metropolis. Eliza Labs provides scalable AI functionality through the ElizaOS framework, facilitating advanced intelligent operations. The Wayfinder Foundation develops multi-chain frameworks that enable AI agents to move seamlessly across blockchain ecosystems.
