The IOST and the Institute for the Future (IFF) – University of Nicosia (UNIC) is pleased to announce a scholarship program to empower women in blockchain through which an annual cohort of talented and motivated candidates will have the opportunity to pursue the University's leading Masters program in the field. The relationship will begin with two (2) endowed studentships over the course of two (2) years, with the opportunity to raise the number of students supported every year beginning with the Spring 2022 intake of UNIC's MSc in Blockchain and Digital Currency.
Moreover, the new alliance aims to develop the next generation of leaders in the area, with a particular focus on supporting and promoting female leaders who are interested in blockchain technology. This goal is in accordance with IFF's objective to assist society to prepare for a future molded by disruptive technologies through educating leaders, developing knowledge, and building communities. At the same time, it meshes with IOST's continuous efforts to promote blockchain technology education and adoption.
