Google Cloud has added support for 11 blockchain networks to its BigQuery data analysis service. This service allows users to easily perform complex queries, such as evaluating their NFT counts or comparing transaction fees. Google Cloud also integrates this service with applications like Looker and Google Sheets to enable more efficient analysis of blockchain data.

What Does the BigQuery Service Include?

Recently, Google Cloud, which has been in the spotlight with many partnerships, added support for 11 blockchain networks to its BigQuery data analysis service. According to the announcement, the supported networks include Avalanche, Arbitrum, Cronos, Fantom, Near, Optimism, Polkadot, Polygon, Tron, and test networks Polygon Mumbai and Ethereum Goerli.

With this service, Google Cloud enables blockchain users to perform various complex on-chain queries, such as evaluating their NFT mint counts or comparing transaction fees on these networks. The service is also integrated with user applications like Looker and Google Sheets.

BigQuery is a data storage service that allows users to perform SQL-like queries on large datasets. The blockchain ecosystems that receive this support will be able to perform complex data operations more easily and cost-effectively.

Google Cloud’s Web3 Journey

Google Cloud made its first foray into this field in 2018 by enabling developers to access on-chain data in the Bitcoin and Ethereum ecosystems through BigQuery.

In 2019, Google Cloud expanded this service to six more blockchain ecosystems. These included Bitcoin Cash, Dash, Dogecoin, Ethereum Classic, Litecoin, and Zcash. With today’s announcement, the company has extended its service to 11 blockchain networks, bringing the total number of supported networks to 19.

In addition to its BigQuery subsidiary, Google Cloud provides infrastructure services that support data storage and transaction verification management for various blockchain ecosystems, including Ethereum, Solana, and Aptos.
