Neo Global Development has scheduled two new learning opportunities as part of the Neo APAC Hackathon. The first is a panel discussion featuring previous hackathon participants, while the second is a development workshop oriented around integrating WalletConnect into a dApp.

Hackathon Participant Panel

The panel is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. (UTC) on Wednesday, Aug. 30, and will be hosted on Neo’s Twitter Spaces. Titled Building the Future: Hackathon Alumni Experience Sharing II, this event will explore the experiences of previous Neo hackathon participants.

The Spaces will be moderated by Rebecca, an NGD marketing associate, with Rentfuse co-founder Michael Fabozzi, NeoPay full stack developer Sir Ram Shastri, XOX Labs founder Liven GM, and INTOverse CMO Wei Jun Lim as panelists. The discussion offers an opportunity for the audience to gain insights from industry experts and community members who have worked on various types of blockchain-enabled projects.

WalletConnect Workshop

The eleventh in a series of APAC Hackathon workshops will take place on Aug. 31 at 9:00 a.m. (UTC). Gil Lopes Bueno, COZ tech lead, will host this workshop and delve into integrating WalletConnect into dApps. COZ is a global developer community responsible for maintaining the Dora Neo blockchain explorer, Neon Wallet, the neo-python suite, the neon-js JavaScript SDK, the PROPS collection of smart contract templates, and more.

Held on the Neo YouTube channel, the session is aimed at guiding attendees through the WalletConnect structure and processes. As with previous workshops, this event is not exclusive to hackathon competitors, and anyone interested is welcome to join in the learning experience.
