Flare Network has joined hands with Ankr, increasing its suite of RPC tooling for the developers. They strive to streamline decentralized application development and boost blockchain utility.

The latest reports indicate that Flare Network has partnered With Ankr, a decentralized Web3 infrastructure provider and top node provider on Polygon and Binance. This partnership is meant to enhance Flare Network’s secure data acquisition and interoperability Capabilities.

This union strives to extend Flare’s suite of remote procedure call (RPC) tooling for the developers, offering a wider scope of tools and resources for the developers who choose to use the Flare network.

The alliance aims to provide developers with distributed and high-performance RPC (Remote Procedure Call) services. These services are designed to simplify the operations of nodes and streamline the development process of decentralized applications (dApps). Additionally, developers can take advantage of Ankr’s Advanced APIs, which include custom indexing capabilities.

Notably, these indexing features are essential for reducing initial onboarding difficulties and enabling convenient querying of on-chain data, such as metadata related to non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Flare Network Enhances Blockchain Utility

As an EVM-compatible Layer 1 smart contract platform, Flare is designed to extend the use cases of blockchain technology. Its optimized strategy and approach to decentralized off-chain data acquisition remains outstanding, integrating oracles within its network system. The provision Equips developers with a clear and cohesive stack of decentralized interoperability.

Flare’s compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) enables it to support decentralized applications (dApps) programmed in Solidity. This compatibility opens up opportunities for applications to utilize various types of data, including acquired price and time series data, blockchain event and state data, and even data from web2 APIs.

Importantly, dApps running on the Flare network can serve multiple ecosystems with a single deployment, thanks to trust-minimized bridges and data relay mechanisms. This interoperability across different chains positions Flare as a trailblazer, paving the way for novel use cases and innovative monetization models.

Hugo Philion, CEO and co-founder of Flare commented on the partnership with Ankr:

“Flare’s alliance with Ankr provides developers with access to first-rate RPC tooling supplied by the top node provider in the blockchain sector, alongside the API Portal and Google Cloud infrastructure. This collaboration emphasizes Flare’s dedication to equipping developers with a versatile, robust, and reliable stack for constructing and overseeing their dApps and services, ensuring enterprise-grade standards of availability and security.”

Ankr: A Top Web3 Infrastructure Provider

Ankr has acquired a leading role as a cloud network provider in the quickly growing Web3 space. It provides RPC services to over 35 blockchains, including WebSocket and HTTPS RPC endpoints provided via bare metal cloud servers. Notably, Ankr boasts a massive suite of developer tools to simplify the process of developing complex, innovative, and readily scalable multichain dApps.

The Vice President of Product at Ankr, Josh Neuroth, was excited about this partnership:

“Ankr is thrilled to team up with Flare to craft a safer and more linked blockchain ecosystem that provides a target="_blank" rel="noopener">Web3 ecosystem.
