Ankr, the all-in-one Web3 developer hub, has officially launched its Enterprise Remote Procedure Call (RPC) and AppChain solutions on Microsoft Azure Marketplace. This release follows the partnership announcement made earlier this year between Ankr and Microsoft, aiming to provide seamless access to blockchain infrastructure for Azure’s vast customer base.
The Enterprise RPC service offers global, low-latency blockchain connections, empowering enterprises to focus on building and scaling their Web3 projects and applications. By leveraging Ankr’s RPC service, Azure’s millions of monthly customers gain easy access to blockchain infrastructure, eliminating the complexities of setting up and managing their blockchain networks.
Ankr’s partnership with Microsoft also introduces AppChains, a new solution allowing enterprises to launch their dedicated and fully customizable blockchains.
The first iteration of AppChains enabled enterprises to deploy their own Polygon Supernets, with support for more ecosystems planned for the future. AppChains has already gained popularity among Web3 organizations, allowing them to launch scalable app-specific blockchains in a highly automated process.
The availability of AppChains on Microsoft Azure Marketplace makes it easier for traditional enterprises to discover and deploy this vetted solution for a wide range of use cases, including institutional clients, banking, CBDCs, and gaming. Peter Stewart, Head of Infrastructure at Ankr, expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration, stating:
Our collaboration with the Microsoft team to launch the Enterprise RPC service was highly rewarding. Together, we ensured exceptional user-friendliness and performance. Now live on Azure Marketplace, we anticipate a surge in clients.
Additionally, Ankr’s AppChains address some of the significant challenges faced by firms venturing into the Web3 space, such as scalability, user experience, and acquiring Web3 engineering talent.
The solution ensures fast and affordable transactions, seamless user experiences, regulatory compliance, and end-to-end engineering provided by Ankr’s experienced team. Kev Silk, Ankr AppChains Lead, highlighted the evolution of AppChains into an Enterprise Chain.
Silk emphasized that Ankr’s complete engineering, infrastructure, and go-to-market services eliminate barriers to entry for large businesses interested in the Web3 space, making AppChains on Azure the fastest, most convenient, and advantageous method for companies to transition to Web3.
