Together, Space and Time and Microsoft have announced that the Space and Time data warehouse is now available for deployment through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.

Azure customers will have an easier time gaining entry to, managing, and doing analytics on real-time blockchain data into their business processes thanks to the one-click deployment, as per a press release shared with Finbold on April 19.

Microsoft is dedicated to helping its customers and partners meet their business requirements, and this includes assisting them with Web3 use cases and scenarios. Microsoft’s M12 venture capital fund launched a fundraising round for Space and Time in September 2022.

Space and Time, available for instant deployment on the Azure Marketplace, gives programmers a trustless mediator with which to integrate massive amounts of corporate data into smart contracts and discover fresh applications for indexed blockchain data.

Kathleen Mitford, CVP of Global Industry Marketing, stated:

“At Microsoft, we are empowering growth across emerging markets—including blockchain and distributed data. Together, Microsoft Azure and Space and Time will provide developers with the tools they need to build the next generation of blockchain use cases.”

Integrating blockchain into operations

Incorporating the blockchain into existing operations without compromising computational power or security is made possible by this integration, which gives organizations access to the advantages of a decentralized data warehouse without requiring a complete rethinking of their current IT architecture.

In this age of pervasive computing, a reliable set of resources and tools for creating Web3 apps can be found in Microsoft Azure’s extensive cloud services and industry-leading identity and security capabilities.

Space and Time CEO and Co-Founder Nate Holiday added:

“The need for verifiable data across blockchains, enterprises and AI has never been more important. We provide enterprises with the ability to integrate blockchain data into their applications and business processes, which is critical for both customer growth and enabling responsible data stewards.”

A pioneer in Web3 data warehousing, Space and Time integrates off-chain datasets given by customers with live data indexed from major blockchains. Free, real-time indexed blockchain data is included in the Space and Time hybrid transactional and analytic (HTAP) data warehouse.

Ultimately the integration of blockchain data with Azure computation will open up new possibilities for blockchain foundations and decentralized app (dApp) builders.
