Polygon (MATIC) and Immutable (IMX), two pioneers in the web3 gaming arena are joining forces. In an attempt to escalate the AAA gaming experience via “Immutable zkEVM”. The zk rollup compatible with EVM will be backed by Polygon and the platform will be provided by Immutable.

Web3 gaming zone has evolved more in the past years, it’s no more just for entertainment. Both builders and players are using the opportunity to gain financial benefits in every way possible. As mentioned by Sandeep Nailwal, Co-Founder of the Polygon network, this is a collaboration of an unstoppable force with an immovable object. Though the companies will function individually, the product ”Immutable zkEVM” will be the common ground. Leading gaming studios will be making use of Polygon validators and secured chains.
Sandeep states:
“Not only this, Immutable is going to enable multiple big studios to launch their own app-specific chains, which will all be MATIC-staked”
Parallelly, now developers can transfer their product built on any platform like Ethereum, Polygon, or others to Immutable zkEVM. Additionally, the native tokens of both environments, MATIC and IMX will be serving as the gas fees entities.
