Strategy, the world’s largest publicly traded Bitcoin holder, has announced another sale.

According to a statement by Strategy founder Michael Saylor, the company sold 1,690 Bitcoins worth approximately $108.6 million.

Strategy generated $108.6 million in revenue from sales conducted between August 3-9, at an average price of $64,262 per Bitcoin.

Strategy announced that it sold $BTC to finance preferred stock dividends and to repurchase STRC shares.

In this context, the company also started August with sales, and the total number of Bitcoins it holds has fallen to 840,447. Thus, Strategy, which made no purchases in July, has not bought any $BTC for approximately 7 weeks with this latest sale, marking its fourth consecutive week of sales.

Strategy also raised $653.1 million through the sale of MSTR shares during the same period. Of these funds, $109 million was used for the STRC share buyback.

According to Strategy’s statement, the company’s US dollar reserves have also risen to approximately $4.65 billion. This means that the period during which dividend payments can be made using dollar reserves has been extended by 143 days, to 2.7 years.

“Strategy increased its USD Reserve by $650 million and repurchased $109 million worth of STRC. This increased the USD Term by 143 days to 2.7 years and reduced STRC’s $BTC Loan by 10 bps. As of August 9, 2026, we hold 840,447 $BTC in our $BTC Reserve and $4.65 billion in our USD Reserve.”
