Tom Lee, founder of Fundstrat and head of Bitmine, known for his Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) predictions, has announced his new predictions.
Speaking to CNBC, Tom Lee predicted that BTC could reach another all-time high this month.
Lee stated that Bitcoin has not yet peaked and that it is too early to conclude that Ethereum or other cryptocurrencies have reached their all-time highs.
Lee stated that he expects 2026 to be a volatile but very constructive year, but warned that a short-term correction may occur in the first half of the year due to corporate rebalancing.
However, Lee stated that the portfolio rebalancing taking place on the institutional front will lay the groundwork for a major bull run expected in the second half of 2026.
“I don’t believe Bitcoin has reached its peak yet.”
I don’t think Bitcoin, Ethereum, or other cryptocurrencies have reached their peak yet.
2026 will be a bumpy year, but overall a very constructive one. A short-term fluctuation may be seen in the first half as institutional investors rebalance their portfolios.
However, this situation could serve as a stepping stone for the large-scale increase expected in the second half of the year.”
Big bull Tom Lee also added that Ethereum’s current price movement resembles Bitcoin’s 2017-2021 bull run and that ETH is poised for an extraordinary performance this year.
Lee concluded by saying about the overall cryptocurrency market: “The current corrections and volatility are more of a preparation for the next bullish phase than signals undermining the uptrend.”
