Metaplanet Announces Additional 330 Bitcoin Purchase as Part of Treasury Operations

Metaplanet Inc. (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 3350 / OTCQX: MTPLF), a publicly listed bitcoin treasury company in Japan, has announced the acquisition of an additional 330 BTC as part of its ongoing Bitcoin Treasury Operations. The latest purchase was made at an average price of 12,181,570 yen per bitcoin, totaling approximately 4.020 billion yen. With this acquisition, Metaplanet’s total bitcoin holdings now amount to 4,855 bitcoin, with an overall average purchase price of 12,804,361 yen per bitcoin, representing a cumulative investment of 62.165 billion yen. The company reported a BTC Yield of 12.1% for the quarter to date from April 1, 2025, to April 21, 2025, following previous yields of 41.7%, 309.8%, and 95.6% in the preceding quarters. These metrics reflect Metaplanet’s strategy to enhance shareholder value through its bitcoin acquisition efforts.
