Major Electronic Company Announces Bitcoin (BTC) Payment Option

Despite several organizations denouncing cryptocurrencies and especially Bitcoin, with every passing year, more and more major companies continue to join the revolution. For most companies, their turnaround has either seen them create their own cryptocurrency such as JPM Coin by JP Morgan bank or seen them accept cryptocurrencies as a means of payment. With cryptocurrencies becoming harder and harder to ignore, more companies continue to adopt them. In the last couple of hours, a major electronics company based in the U.S has announced that it will begin accepting Bitcoin. Avnet, one of the oldest and leading electronics company has become the latest company to add Bitcoin (BTC) as a payment option. According to the company’s vice president, this was in response to growing demand from customers wanting to pay using cryptocurrencies.

Bitpay To Facilitate BTC Payment For Avnet

Bitcoin being the cryptocurrency leader, boasting of the highest market cap and highest user base is always the first choice asset for any company to begin accepting. Avnet has not been an exception, the company says that users will now be able to buy goods and services using Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH). Facilitating the process will be Bitpay, one of the industries leading payment processor.

Avnet has been in operations since the 1920s and its adoption of BTC signals a change in trend. Avnet which is always looking for ways to be ahead of its competitors is taking a bold step and one that could set it apart and see it outdo its competitors. The company’s vice president, Sunny Trinh, has announced that they have already closed multi-million dollar transactions using cryptocurrencies.

Real Estate Auction With Crypto Bids

With adoption continuing to grow, one Australian real estate firm has announced that it will be holding a live auction of a luxury property, with bids set to be in cryptocurrency. According to reports, bids will be made in two cryptocurrencies; BTC and Binance coin.

“The auctioneer will call bids in cryptocurrency, with the price to be converted and displayed in AUD and USD”

Although cryptocurrency adoption is at the highest it has ever been, the industry continues to grow and infiltrate in other ventures. This is expected to see cryptocurrencies become an everyday means of payment and prices rocket.
