Zama Protocol [$ZAMA] gained more than 15% over the past 24 hours, taking its weekly gains above 11%. The rebound accompanied increased on-chain activity as traders looked ahead to an upcoming report discussion.

However, exchange positioning showed that conviction varied. With $ZAMA approaching descending channel resistance, buyers still had a hurdle to clear.

What is supporting $ZAMA’s recovery?

$ZAMA traders had a possible “buy the rumor” catalyst approaching. The Rollup scheduled its Q3 Shielded report episode for the 2nd of November.

The discussion featured participants from Bitwise, Hypernative, Zerion, and Utila. Ahead of the release, daily Trading Volume exceeded $50 million, roughly one-third of $ZAMA’s Market Cap.

Still, the Long/Short Ratio readings showed no unified bullish camp. Binance’s Whale Account reading stood at 1.11, classified as Neutral, while its Whale Position reading was Bullish at 1.36.

On OKX, the Whale Account reading was Bullish at 2.24, but Whale Position was Neutral at 0.96. Smart Money Sentiment was Bullish on Binance and Extremely Bearish on OKX.

Retail positioning also differed, ranging from Bearish on Binance to Neutral on OKX and Bullish on Bybit.

Is Zama’s network activity keeping pace?

Away from derivatives, Zama Protocol recorded growth in locked assets and network usage. Its reported Total Value Locked (TVL), including Staking, rose 38% to exceed $306 million.

Staked tokens accounted for $173 million, representing more than half of that total. The increase accompanied a sharp pickup in daily activity.

According to Token Terminal, Daily Active Addresses more than doubled from 210 to 433. Daily Transaction Count also increased from 445 to 932, taking the weekly total to 3.30K.

Holder Count rose 9.2% to 6.30K, adding to the signs of expanding participation. Whether that activity could sustain buying beyond the episode release remained open.

Can $ZAMA break above THIS?

On the four-hour chart, $ZAMA rebounded from the $0.065 area but remained inside a descending channel. The upper boundary near $0.075–$0.076 stood between buyers and a breakout.

The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) Histogram turned positive as green bars expanded. Its lines remained below zero, suggesting improving momentum within a still-recovering market.

Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD) also turned positive, reaching approximately 3.28 million in the displayed session. That supported improving buying pressure without establishing a completed trend reversal.

A sustained break above channel resistance could give the rebound more room. However, rejection could bring $0.065 back into focus.

Below that area, recent wick lows near $0.060 offered another reference. A deeper decline could expose the lower channel boundary around $0.052.

Final Summary

  • $ZAMA gained over 15% as network activity increased ahead of The Rollup’s Q3 Shielded report discussion.
  • Exchange positioning remained mixed, while resistance near $0.075–$0.076 stood in the way of a channel breakout.
