XRP Price Prediction: Can XRPL Growth Push XRP Toward $5?

$XRP has more than one catalyst to watch, and the latest developments are giving bulls plenty to discuss. Tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) on the $XRP Ledger (XRPL) reportedly stand near $5 billion, Ripple’s $RLUSD stablecoin is expanding to Coinbase, and $XRP futures trading volume has reached a seven-month high. Still, none of that guarantees the price will cooperate.
XRPL Tokenization Targets $50 Billion in Assets
XRPL co-creator David Schwartz reportedly expects tokenized RWAs on the network to grow tenfold over the next year, potentially reaching $50 billion. That’s an ambitious target after the market expanded from roughly $180 million to $5 billion over the past 12 months.
The pipeline includes institutional developments. Aviva Investors launched a tokenized share class of its approximately £22 billion Sterling Liquidity Fund on XRPL, while Robinhood plans to use $RLUSD for institutional settlement.

Meanwhile, Ripple announced that $RLUSD is coming to Coinbase, expanding access for retail and institutional markets across $XRP, Ethereum, and Base. These developments strengthen the network’s tokenization narrative, although adoption figures alone don’t establish where $XRP’s price will go next.
🚨 MASSIVE: $XRP Ledger co-creator David Schwartz says tokenized RWAs on the XRPL will 10x a year from now.
Here's what that means:
→ RWAs on the XRPL sit at ~$5B today
→ They grew ~28x in the last 12 months, from roughly $180M
$XRP’s long-term chart remains a major talking point. The token has traded within a broad ascending channel since reaching approximately $0.15 in 2020. After climbing to around $3.50, it suffered a deep correction toward $1.00 before recovering to approximately $1.33.
The channel’s lower boundary hasn’t been touched, leaving its long-term structure relevant to traders. If support holds, potential resistance levels sit at $1.50 and $2.00, with $3.50 representing a previous peak.
An extended projection points toward $5 around 2027. But let’s be clear: that’s a technical possibility, not a guaranteed destination. Reclaiming resistance and maintaining the broader channel matter more than drawing an attractive price target.
$XRP is in a long-term upward channel on its two-week moving average and is still worth watching.

Seven-Month Futures Volume Raises Questions
$XRP derivatives activity is picking up. Reported October futures volume across major platforms reached its highest level in seven months, suggesting increased participation in the market.
Binance recorded $34.57 billion in $XRP futures volume, followed by Bybit at $13.58 billion and OKX at $12.25 billion. Together, those figures total approximately $60.4 billion.
However, high volume cuts both ways. It can reflect stronger buying interest, aggressive selling, hedging, speculation, or liquidations. Without sustained buying pressure, heavier trading doesn’t automatically translate into higher prices.
Can $XRP Turn Adoption Into Lasting Momentum?
The $XRP price prediction ultimately depends on whether network expansion and institutional access translate into durable demand. The $50 billion tokenization ambition, $RLUSD’s Coinbase rollout, and rising futures activity provide several developments to monitor.
For now, $1.50 and $2.00 remain important potential resistance levels, while $3.50 and the projected $5 region sit further ahead. $XRP has a compelling set of developments to build on, but the market still needs to confirm the bullish case.
