The numbers have cooled since the peak. The latest reading is 30.5K, down 6.3% in 24 hours, and the chart shows a sharp pullback toward 18K. Even so, the network is far busier than it was a few weeks ago. The all-time high of 106K is still far away, so the ledger has a long way to go before it reaches record levels.
The price chart does not match the surge in usage. $XRP trades near $1.29 and has been falling since early October, when it was close to $1.50. The coin is now below the 50-day and 100-day averages, which sit around $1.33 and $1.36. The 200-day average near $1.37 is also above the price. All of these now act as resistance.
Support is near $1.25, where buyers stepped in twice in recent weeks. If that level breaks, the next area to watch is $1.20, followed by the August breakout area near $1.10 to $1.15. Volume has stayed low throughout the decline, and the RSI sits just below 50. This indicates the market is neutral and lacks strong momentum in either direction.
What the Gap Means
A rise in active accounts can mean more people are using the network for payments, trading, or moving funds. That is a healthy signal for the long term. But network activity does not always push the price up in the short term. Spikes can also come from bots, airdrops, or one-time events, and they often fade quickly, as past peaks this year have shown.
For $XRP to turn bullish, the price needs to climb back above $1.33 and then $1.37. Until that happens, the trend remains weak, and the busy ledger stays a positive sign that the market has not yet rewarded.
