Veteran trader Peter Brandt has put a new price target on $XRP: $2.16. In the same post, he warned that a “ton” of overhead supply stands in the way and said he prefers the charts of Monero, Solana and Ether. Brandt shared a weekly $XRP chart on X showing the token at about $1.51. He said he has identified a cup and handle pattern, which on a larger time frame could be the right shoulder of an inverse head and shoulders.
Using what he calls a “measured move,” he projected the height of that pattern upward to reach $2.16. That would be a gain of about 43% from the price on his chart.
He was quick to add a warning. “Targets or objectives are not sacred,” Brandt wrote. “Charts often fail to deliver what we first identify and morph into something else.”
