Bitwise Makes Huge 30x and 100x Predictions for This Altcoin: “AI Could Send It Soaring!”

Bitwise, a US-based crypto asset management company, has shared its expectations for the altcoin for which it has filed an ETF application.

At this point, Bitwise, which manages over $15 billion in assets, published a report last week with an upward outlook for $NEAR, the ETF for which it submitted its final prospectus to the SEC.

Three Scenarios for $NEAR from Bitwise!

In a report co-authored by Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan, André Dragosch, and Ayush Tripathi, three price targets were set for $NEAR by the end of 2030.

The company outlined three scenarios for $NEAR, pointing towards the year 2030. In the bearish scenario, the $NEAR price could reach $1.63; in the base scenario, $155.8; and in the bullish scenario, $562.8. The base scenario of $155 represents a 30x increase for $NEAR, while the $562 scenario represents an increase of more than 100 times.

However, Bitwise emphasizes that the $155 figure is not a definitive or the most likely price estimate. This estimate is based on a scenario where $NEAR evolves into a large transaction and payment network for AI agents.

Bitwise stated in its model that 16.4 billion AI agents will be operating worldwide by 2030. At this point, the company assumes that approximately 2% of these will use the $NEAR ecosystem. This corresponds to approximately 328 million AI agents.

The model also predicts that each AI agent will perform an average of 1,000 operations per year, with an average transaction value of approximately $5. Thus, it is assumed that hundreds of billions of AI operations can be performed annually via the $NEAR network.

This situation is expected to drive the $NEAR price up to $155.8 in 2030 under the base scenario.
