The $BNB price is ending August at a rather awkward spot. After falling from the early-2026 peak of $955 to $572 in February and eventually bleeding to $540 by late July, the token reversed sharply to $720. Now though, it’s consolidating near the upper border of a falling wedge. That’s where things get interesting and potentially ugly.
$BNB Price Needs A Breakout To Continue Higher
The technical setup currently leans bullish, but hardly guarantees anything. A golden cross between the 50-day EMA and 200-day EMA bands support the case for further upside, while improved market sentiment has helped the recovery.
If buyers actually push the $BNB price through the wedge’s upper boundary, $760 becomes an immediate level to watch, followed by $820. If that resistance refuses to give way, however, the recent recovery could lose momentum quickly.
