Dogecoin cofounder Billy Markus has drawn attention to crypto’s latest rebound after months of market pressure. Markus, known as Shibetoshi Nakamoto on X, highlighted the broad gains across major financial assets. His reaction reflects growing curiosity about whether digital assets have finally escaped their prolonged downturn.

Rally Sparks Fresh Optimism

Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and Dogecoin all posted stronger performances in the period Markus highlighted. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 gained just 0.21%, showing stronger momentum across several major cryptocurrencies.

Additionally, the rebound arrives after months of selling pressure that followed last October’s historic flash crash. That event triggered roughly $19 billion in liquidations and damaged investor confidence.

But a single strong session does not ensure a market reversal. Strong buying pressure and increased participation are needed before any bull market can be considered.

Fed Signals Keep Traders Cautious

Meanwhile, investors continue to assess the Federal Reserve’s latest policy signals. July meeting minutes showed most officials favored keeping interest rates unchanged.

Several officials, however, argued for increases to rates that might reduce risk appetite. As a result, crypto traders are presented with conflicting signals despite the recent rally.
