Arthur Hayes is very insistent on this altcoin! He bet it will surpass Solana!

Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX and one of the most prominent figures in the industry known for his bold predictions for Bitcoin (BTC) and altcoins, has placed a bet on an altcoin.

According to Arthur Hayes, HyperLiquid ($HYPE), one of the most popular altcoins recently, will outperform the top 10 cryptocurrencies in 2026, and he is placing a $100,000 bet on it.

As is known, Arthur Hayes has recently stated that he is quite bullish on $HYPE. The famous figure had also predicted $150 by the end of 2026. Insisting on this prediction, Hayes said in a post yesterday, “$HYPE will surpass Solana, at least among the top 10 cryptocurrencies, by the end of this bull season.”

In a later post, Hayes challenged Multicoin co-founder Kyle Samani to a bet, saying, “Let’s make a bet. I’m betting that $HYPE will outperform any of the top ten cryptocurrencies currently available in USD terms, starting now and going all the way through the end of the year. I’m putting $100,000 into a charity of your choice. Who’s your champion?”

At this point, a bet began between Arthur Hayes and Kyle Samani, founder of Multicoin Capital, regarding $HYPE and Solana ($SOL) for the end of the year.

Hayes argues that $HYPE will offer significantly better returns than any altcoin among the top 10 cryptocurrencies by the end of the year.

At this point, Hayes chose $HYPE for this claim, while Samani accepted the bet and opted to support $SOL.

Samani Hayes accepted the offer, saying, “Okay, agreed, Solana.”

The pair bet on $HYPE and $SOL each put up $100,000, and the winner will donate the winnings to charity.

While the two bet on $HYPE and $SOL, they agree on the altcoin Zcash ($ZEC). As is known, Multicoin Capital recently announced that it has been accumulating Zcash since February. Hayes has also stated in many of his statements that he is bullish on $ZEC and that it is one of his biggest investments.
