Bitcoin and altcoins continue to be affected by the latest developments and statements between the US and Iran.
Bitcoin recently climbed above $80,000 for the first time since January, and predictions for May on the forecasting market Polymarket have also been revealed.
At this point, investors maintain both bearish and bullish expectations, especially for Bitcoin ($BTC), Ethereum ($ETH), Solana ($SOL), and $XRP.
According to Polymarket data, the expected prices for $BTC, $ETH, $SOL, and $XRP in May were as follows.
1. Bitcoin ($BTC):
Predictions titled “What Price Will Bitcoin Reach in May?” indicate that an upward trend is dominant for $BTC.
- The possibility of it exceeding $85,000 is the most likely scenario, with a 61% probability.
- This is followed by a 51% probability of Bitcoin falling below $75,000.
- This is followed by a 25% probability of Bitcoin rising above $90,000.
- Finally, the possibility of Bitcoin falling below $70,000 is only around 23%.
2. Ethereum ($ETH):
In predictions titled “What Will Ethereum’s Price Be in May?”, bullish forecasts for Ethereum are prominent.
- The most dominant scenario is that the price is priced above $2,400 with a 92% probability.
- A drop below $2,200 is priced in with a 60% probability.
- These are followed by a third prominent prediction: a 49% probability of $ETH rising above $2,600.
- The probability of Ethereum falling below $2,000 is priced at only 23%.
3. Solana (LEFT):
Predictions titled “What Will Solana’s Price Be in May?” highlight bearish forecasts for Solana.
- The most dominant scenario is pricing below $80 with a 68% probability.
- Secondly, a move above $90 is priced in with a 64% probability.
- These are followed by a third prominent prediction: a 20% probability of it going above $100.
4.$XRP:
In predictions titled “What Will $XRP’s Price Be in May?”, bullish forecasts for $XRP are prominent.
- The most dominant scenario is a move above $1.6, with a 30% probability priced in.
- Secondly, a drop below $1.20 is priced in with a 24% probability.
- These are followed by a third prominent prediction, with only an 8% probability of it rising above $1.80.
