Top 10 crypto altcoins crushing it in the last 90 days

Finbold compiled the top ten best-performing altcoins in the past three months, as the altcoin season index surged to 41/100 on March 12.

Over the past 90 days, Kite (KITE), an EVM-compatible Layer-1 blockchain built for artificial intelligence (AI) agents, was the highest performing crypto asset after its 222% rally, according to data from CryptoRank, a crypto analytics and market-intelligence platform.

During the same period, Canton Network (CC) spiked 111.93% to trade about $0.146 at press time, based on data from CoinMarketCap, a crypto info platform. The third best performing altcoin was Stable (STABLE), which gained over 84% to trade about $0.0288 at the time of this publication.

Other top-performing crypto assets since mid December 2025 include Morpho (MORPHO), Sky (SKY), LayerZero (ZRO), Just (JST), Hyperliquid (HYPE), and Rain (RAIN).

Altcoins gain ground over Bitcoin in 2026

During the past three months, the altcoin market has gradually gained ground over Bitcoin (BTC). Furthermore, the Altcoin Season Index (ASI) has surged from 18/100 on December 27, 2025, to hover around 41/100 at press time, as revealed by data from CryptoRank.

At press time, the altcoin market cap was between $684 billion and $991 billion, depending on the different crypto aggregate platforms. The altcoin industry is well positioned to record parabolic gains before the end of 2026 if the United States Senate passes the Clarity Act into law, akin to the Genius Act.
