Bitcoin (BTC) and altcoins, after experiencing a decline in the last three months of 2025, have made a strong start to 2026.
While some altcoins have attracted market attention with their rises, one very surprising name experienced a significant surge.

Rain Protocol, a cryptocurrency platform focused on prediction markets, has seen its token, Rain (RAIN), quietly reach an all-time high of $0.009356.
Analyzing this rise, Santiment noted that despite RAIN’s price reaching its all-time high, social media excitement and retail investors’ FOMO (fear of missing out) remained low.
Santiment noted that the low level of social media interest and FOMO is a sign that RAIN’s rise could continue, and wrote the following:
“RAIN, the 201st largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, reached an all-time high in trading volume, while retail investors’ FOMO (fear of missing out) remained stagnant.”
This shows that trading continues to support the rising RAIN price, and the excitement on social media shows no sign of hindering the rise.”
Rain Protocol and RAIN are scheduled for release in 2025, and the protocol runs on the Arbitrum (ARB) network, known for its scalability.
RAIN is still trading at $0.0091 at the time of writing.
