About Maker

Maker Maker (MKR) is a platform for smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain, of the ERC-20 standard. The token supports and stabilizes the value of DAI stablecoin through a dynamic system of collaterallized debt positions (CDP), autonomous feedback mechanisms and stimulation of external participants. MKR tokens are created or burned in accordance with DAI coin price fluctuations in order to keep it as close to $1 as possible. MKRs are also used to pay transaction fees and provide owners with voting rights in the Maker voting system.
