BlockchainUnmasked, a blockchain intelligence and investigation firm, has joined the Illicit Virtual Asset Notification Public-Private Partnership, known as IVAN. The initiative is led by the U.S. government and unites public authorities with private companies to counter illicit activity involving digital assets.

IVAN is designed as a shared information channel between governments, law enforcement agencies, and industry participants worldwide. Its goal is to identify emerging risks, exchange relevant data, and support coordinated responses to digital crime linked to virtual assets.

BlockchainUnmasked works on blockchain analytics and crypto investigations. The company has supported more than 20 federal investigations and assisted over 16,000 victims of crypto-related crime, involving more than $1.4 billion in digital assets.

Other IVAN members include Circle, a U.S.-based stablecoin issuer, and Binance, a global digital asset exchange.
