The Worldcoin project has announced its integration with major platforms including Shopify, Mercado Libre, Minecraft, Reddit and Telegram. The market cap and price of the token began to rise against the backdrop of the news.

Recall that World ID 2.0 from Worldcoin is a protocol that aims to improve online verification processes. The company offers three different levels of authentication — casual, standard and high. These range from simply creating a profile in the Worldcoin app to more robust security measures including iris scanning and facial recognition.

According to Tools for Humanity product manager Tiago Sada, users will be able to remain anonymous while being securely verified across multiple platforms. Tiago Sada also highlighted the tool’s effectiveness in distinguishing between bots and humans on platforms such as Shopify, Mercado Libre, Minecraft, Reddit and Telegram.

There are currently approximately 5 million users connected to World ID, and approximately 2.6 million of them undergo iris scans. It is worth noting that since mid-September the native token price has increased by almost 150%; WLD is trading at $2.54 at the time of writing.
