NFT users have been unknowingly robbed of millions of dollars by several fraudulent websites in the name of Blur (BLUR) token airdrops. According to the report issued warning about the threat of fraud, wallets belonging to people have been robbed of more than $300,000 since February 15 by 24 different fake websites.
Smart contracts are used by fraudulent websites, which encourage transactions from users' wallets and empty their funds to a specific address.
