The Miami-Dade County Cryptocurrency Task Force Thanks Wyoming’s Crypto Leaders

The adoption of Resolution R-455-21 by the Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners calls for the formation of a Cryptocurrency Task Force to investigate the feasibility of Miami-Dade County accepting cryptocurrency and other digital monetary forms as an acceptable method of payment for county taxes, fees, and services, as well as to make recommendations for other cryptocurrency-related policy initiatives that would benefit Miami-Dade County.

To carry out the mission, Elijah John Bowdre, Chairman of the Miami-Dade Cryptocurrency Task Force, accepted an invitation from Marian Orr, the CEO of American CryptoFed DAO, and the first DAO established under Wyoming DAO law, to visit Cheyenne and Laramie, Wyoming between October 20-22.

    • Matt Kaufman, Partner at Hathaway and Kunz, LLP.

    Elijah John Bowdre, Chairman of the Miami-Dade County Cryptocurrency Task Force, intends to invite a delegation of Wyoming cryptocurrency and blockchain leaders to meet with his fellow task force members in Miami.

    "I'm exploring the feasibility of collaboration between Wyoming and Florida, and this is likely to extend to all of Florida".
