USDT on TRON Approved in ADGM

USDT issued on the TRON blockchain has been recognized by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Abu Dhabi Global Market as an Accepted Fiat-Referenced Token. The decision allows FSRA-licensed firms in ADGM to use USDT on TRON within regulated financial activities, expanding the list of approved digital assets in the jurisdiction.

The approval reflects ADGM’s approach to integrating digital assets into established financial frameworks. Abu Dhabi Global Market is an international financial center in the United Arab Emirates, known for its structured regulatory environment for financial innovation. The recognition applies specifically to USDT on the TRON network and does not introduce new trading venues or platforms.

TRON DAO, a community-governed blockchain ecosystem, stated that the decision enables regulated institutions to incorporate USDT on TRON into payments, settlements, and other approved services.
