Sweet, the startup behind sports digital collectibles platforms licensed by the NHL and MLS, announced Wednesday that it will integrate a new SCOR rewards token built on The Open Network, starting with a Telegram-based duo of sports mini-games.
Playable via the SCOR on Sweet channel on popular messaging app Telegram, the hockey and soccer games—called Ice Snake and Glove Hero, respectively—offer simple gameplay and retro-style graphics, letting players earn digital gems as they play.
Earned gems can be converted into the on-chain SCOR token on TON once it launches. No ETA has been set for the token launch, a representative told Decrypt.

While the games do not currently have any kind of pro licenses attached, Sweet also operates the official NFT platforms of the major U.S. hockey and soccer leagues, NHL Breakaway and MLS Quest. Once the token is launched, both Sweet platforms will accept SCOR payments to purchase collectibles.
“The integration of SCOR into the Sweet ecosystem marks a meaningful evolution in how we and our pro sports partners approach digital fandom and the value exchange driven by participation in sports and games,” Sweet founder and CEO Tom Mizzone told Decrypt.
“The launch of fun, SCOR-powered, sports-based mini-apps on Telegram extends the reach of the Sweet platform and introduces our pro sports partners to a vibrant new cohort of users,” he continued,” adding that Sweet’s token integration helps “create a powerful engine for fandom.”
The token will be supported by the SCOR Foundation and have a supply of 4 billion SCOR, with 44% of the supply dedicated to ecosystem growth via in-game incentives and other rewards. Another 21% has been allocated to a private sale and 15% to team and early contributors, with the rest split between launch partners, platform reserve, and foundation.
